The QUT Concert Band is a fun, student-led band that welcomes all wind, brass and percussion players, at all different skill levels, and is a great way to make new friends. The band enjoys playing a variety of genres, including classical, movie themes/soundtracks, marches, and more! They have performed at multiple QUT events including QUT’s O Week Celebrations, Harmony Day, and Jingle & Mingle. The QUT Concert Band also performs alongside other QMuSo ensembles at the end of year performance. As well as a weekly rehearsal, the band holds social events for members throughout the year, such as dinners or bowling.

If you’ve been wanting to dust off your instrument, come on down to the QUT Concert Band’s rehearsals! They’re a concert band for the real world.
