Blackbirds are QMuSo’s resident big band, with a love for all things jazz, and perform at a variety of events both on and off campus. Blackbirds’ repertoire includes the old-school jazz standards you know and love, contemporary music, world music and some funky fusion, with arrangements featuring their vocalists woven throughout.
Blackbirds can often be found on stage at University events, club balls and QMuSo performances jamming out to their favourite tunes and songs.

Rehearsals are held Sundays at QUT Kelvin Grove.
