The QUT Music Society is a committed group of both music makers and lovers coming together to rehearse, perform and build connections all based around the power of one thing - music.

Since 2013, QMuSo has been connecting fellow musicians through the power of song, regardless of what you may (or may not!) be studying. With three ensembles spanning multiple genres, the QUT Music Society strives to create a diverse community bringing a sense of vibrancy to the QUT campus with it’s instrumental ensembles.

With a focus on creating a fun, creative and exciting musical culture at QUT, the various ensembles of QMuSo have dazzled audiences across both Brisbane and Australia, performing at a number of venues and events such as QPAC, Brisbane City Hall, Brisbane Sings, World Science Festival, Queensland Music Festival, Brisbane Jazz Club, Event Cinemas (multiple locations), QUT Art Museum, Queensland Multicultural Centre, Dragon Boat Regatta, AUSACA and more. Whether you’re looking for an ensemble or vocal group to join, or wanting to book one of our groups for your event, the QUT Music Society strives to create an enjoyable experience with a high standard of performance.

Now affiliated with the QUT Guild, the QUT Music Society are excited to head into their seventh year with more music-making than ever.
